We've Been Panini'd

We'll try anything once....and this was definitely a great try! Our panini maker will definitely be seeing more action in the near future. The Turkey Vegetable Panini was a hit! Thick honey wheat bread loaded with roast turkey, lettuce, provolone and tomato and slathered with pesto mayo..YUM!

Valentine Dinner

Happy Valentine's Day (a day late) from the Mill Creek Gals.

Thank you to all who attended our very first Mill Creek "event". The Valentine Dinner was very well attended and we received some wonderful compliments on the food and service (thanks kids!). If you missed it, please keep an eye out for our next events in the coming months. To make your mouth water a bit we'll share the menu from last night.

Selection of appetizers

Virgin Bloody Mary's, Strawberry Daquiris and Pina Coladas

Fresh spinach salad with mandarin oranges, fresh strawberries, slivered almonds and feta, drizzled in our homemade raspberry vinaigrette.

The main course featured a choice of Grilled Bruschetta Chicken or Maple Glazed Stuffed Pork Roast, accompanied by Twice Baked Potatoes and Bacon Wrapped Green Beans in a Sweet Garlic Sauce.

Desserts included a delicious Rocky Road Tart

Cherry Cheesecake and Boston Cream Pie.

Ice Cream Treats in the Afternoon

Wednesday we celebrated our first "ice cream treats afternoon". We stayed open until 4:30pm and were able to enjoy the company of some folks who wouldn't otherwise be able to visit us. Brownie sundaes and rootbeer floats were a great way to end the day!

Oh the Pie

Jamie has been busy this week baking, baking and baking some more. Apple pie is one of her

specialties and has proven to be VERY popular with the Mill Creek customers!! Stop in soon to try one of her delectable creations.

Mill Creek Cafe Valentine Dinner

Special events will be a frequent highlight at the Mill Creek Cafe! Our very first will be "The Mill Creek Cafe Valentine Dinner." Couples can enjoy a scrumptious, all inclusive meal for $25. Included will be appetizers, salad, entree, desserts and mocktails! The cafe will be romantically lit and beautifully adorned for this very special evening.

The second day of business was even better than the first...who could have imagined?? These little guys sold out fast. As we sample items for our menu we will be sure the tenderloin is a frequent visitor!

The Mill Creek Cafe opened for business today, Thursday, February 4, 2010. The building has come a long way from where we started last spring, but a lot of hard work by so many has paid off. We look forward to the days ahead...and lots of yummy food!!
